This foam cannon turns your pressure washer into a snow foam lance, laying a thick, clinging foam across your car, 4WD or boat in seconds. The foam loosens grit before you touch the paint, so you scrub less and cut the risk of scratches and swirl marks.

A garden-hose foam gun is fine for a light rinse, but heavily soiled cars, 4WDs, boats and caravans need more. Run on a pressure washer, the Saltworx Foam Cannon generates a dense, high-cling foam that sticks to vertical panels and works its way into panel gaps, wheels and underbody channels — giving the concentrate time to break down salt, mud and red dirt before you ever touch the surface.

That dwell time is the whole point. The more grime the foam loosens on its own, the less you have to scrub, and the less chance of dragging grit across your paint. Use with clean water and the right Saltworx concentrate for a faster pre-wash.

How to use a foam cannon

Fill the reservoir with concentrate at 15:1 and set the dilution dial.

Connect the cannon to your pressure washer lance with the adapter.

Foam top to bottom, dwell 1–2 minutes, then rinse under pressure.

Foam cannon vs foam gun: which do you need?

A foam cannon runs off a pressure washer and makes the thickest, clingiest snow foam. A foam gun (often sold as a foam blaster) screws onto a garden hose and makes wetter, lighter suds. No pressure washer? Use our Garden Hose Foam Gun instead.

What pressure washer fittings does this foam cannon work with? The standard 1/4" Quick Connector suits most machines, with brand-specific adapters available for Karcher, Gerni, Bosch, Nilfisk, M22 and more.
Can I use it with Saltworx concentrates? Yes — it works with every Saltworx concentrate, including 4WD & Boat Wash and Wax and Mud & Red Dirt Exterminator.
What can I clean with it? Cars, 4WDs, boats, caravans, bikes and other vehicles — anything that needs a thick pre-wash foam on a dirty surface.
Is a snow foam lance the same as a foam blaster? Not quite. A snow foam lance runs on a pressure washer and makes thick foam that clings to the panels. A foam blaster (or foam gun) runs on a garden hose and makes wetter, lighter suds that run off sooner.
Should I rinse before foaming? On a very dirty car, 4WD or boat, a quick rinse first knocks off loose mud and grit. On a lightly dusty car you can foam straight onto dry paint for the best cling. Let it dwell 1–2 minutes (out of direct sun), then rinse top to bottom.
How much does a foam cannon cost in Australia? They range from under $30 for unbranded lances to around $150 for premium brands. Ours is $79 with the standard 1/4" quick connector, or $89 with a brand-specific adapter.
Can I use a foam cannon with a garden hose? No — it needs a pressure washer to make thick foam. For a garden hose, use the Saltworx Garden Hose Foam Gun.
